I’m sorry but this recipe did not work for me. It turned out very rubbery and I made this for Father’s Day too. I don’t know if I should present it for dessert. I used the Knox powder gelatin by weight. I think the problem may lie in the method of incorporating the gelatin into the liquid using hot water. It clumped for me. Usually I bloom it in cold water before adding it to hot liquid.

Cookies came out flat; theres not enough flour. The base is basically a chewy sugar cookie base; I would recommend using a sugar cookie recipe that you know has worked for you in the past and adding the ube as directed here. Great idea; the recipe here needs to be reworked/retested.

These are so yummy! I had an unopened glutinous rice flour in my pantry that said it was expired. After googling to make sure I wouldn’t poison myself if I used it, I made these. I added a tiny sprinkle of kosher salt on top and they are sooooo good. Fadt and simple for a sweet chewy snack!

Delicious! I had a bit extra dough and ended up making a plain muffin. It was soo good!
I just have a hard time peeling the egg without it breaking, but the recipe itself was amazing.

Not one aspect of this recipe worked. Eggs were so underdone they were impossible to peel and keep intact. This issue was coupled with a batter so thick I couldn’t encase the incredibly delicate egg without busting the yolk. Threw out everything. Didn’t even get it in the oven. Complete waste of ingredients.
