Your post inspired me to buy lavender roses again to accompany blackcurrant macarons :p I was thrilled to find your recipe for the lavender oolong buttercream because I wasn't sure how to incorporate tea flavors into buttercream without adding too much liquid. I tried an earl grey buttercream last night, but the buttercream turned out pretty grainy. Do you let your buttercream cool to room temperature at room temperature? I think mine might have crystallized because I put it in the fridge to hasten the process 🙁
